Bon Voyage
This song was composed in 2008 and explores shifting rhythmic landscapes, alternating between 6/4 and 5/4 time signatures before moving into a fast swing section.

Sougo Kuyo Wasan – Japanese Pilgrim’s Hymn
I arranged a Japanese Pilgrim’s Hymn by Japanese Buddhists Toshio Sogabe.
Goeika was born about 1300 years ago on the pilgrimage. At the time, it was a life-risking journey, forging your way through paths that didn’t exist and visiting shrines.
During such a journey, there were times when people felt disheartened and thought, “Maybe I can’t do this. My journey has already ended here.” What lifted my spirits at such times was the Goeika.
Prologue – Concert at Berklee College of Music
To graduate from Berklee College of Music’s Jazz Composition Major, students will perform a final live performance called “Senior Recital” in their final semester to complete their portfolio.
The final project in the “Jazz Compositon 3” class is a 10-minute piece, which will incorporate everything we have learned so far.
I was recently sorting through the audio files I’d made up, and I found a DVD from 2008, so I edited it. The image quality is poor because it was ripped from a DVD, and the video file has been damaged over time, so there are some parts that are choppy, but please understand.
